Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba. Aikido is often translated as "the Way of unifying (with) life energy" or as "the Way of harmonious spirit." Ueshiba's goal was to create an art that practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury. (source: wikipedia)
The Hagukumi Dojo is affiliated with the NCAC (Nederlandse Culturele Aikido Club), CABN and AIKIKAI (Japan).
In the Hagukumi dojo we run a comprehensive schedule. To make Aikido as accessible as possible we have chosen to offer a variety off aikido classes for different target groups. The philosophy is, however, that we train with each other during the regular lessons.
Frequently we have activities and get together with the main purpose off training with the whole group. There are aikido classes for beginners and the more advanced.
