What is Aikido?

Aikido 合気道 is a Japanese martial art based on evasive actions, throwing moves and different kinds of joint locks. It is practised by women and men of any age. Training Aikido supports the development of natural movement, strength and physical awareness.
We are very happy that we can share the practice of Aikido at a former library, which we still consider a place to learn and have new experiences. Hence the name Hagukumi Dojo - which could losly translated to a 'place to learn'.
At the Hagukumi Dojo you can practice most days of the week with different teachers.
