The Hagukumi Dojo is part of the NCAC (Nederlandse Culturele Aikido Club) and the CABN (Culturele Aikido Bond Nederland) and associated with the Aikikai Foundation at the Hombu dojo in Tokyo.

The Hagukumi Dojo is affiliated with the NCAC (Nederlandse Culturele Aikido Club), CABN and AIKIKAI (Japan).

HISTORY OF HAGUKUMI

Hagukumi - Aikido in Den Haag

The NCAC foundation was started up by Peter Bacas Sensei 6th Dan Aikikai Aikido (16 march 1936 - 27 february 2006). Peter Bacas was back in 1970 one of the first in The Netherlands to start with aikido. Maïtre Dedobbeleer has been one of the first teachers of Bacas Sensei. What started with literally aikido in a living room on the Beeklaan in Den Haag has now developed into a dojo at the Mient 277 in The Hague with a fixed Aikido mat.
In 1999 the dojo received the name 'Hagukumi' given by Fujita Sensei Shihan 8th Dan Aikikai Aikido. Hagukumi means "school to study".
